Tootsie Flute is the fan name for a filly used as a background pony in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. The Collectable Card Game gave her the name 'Liza Doolots' but it is little used by fans. Within the fandom, she is primarily known as the daughter of Bon Bon and Lyra, either adopted outright or brought into the family via magical means (as in the story And Tootsie Flute Makes Three by dlazerous).
She first appeared in the episode Call of the Cutie, and her relationship with Lyra and Bon Bon became the subject of fan art within days (e.g. this image from January 10, three days after the episode aired). However, since the episode The Mysterious Mare Do Well, which showed her at a picnic with Sparkler, some fans consider her Sparkler's daughter instead of Lyra's.
A song about unrequited love by Mogul Dash refers to a scene in Hearts and Hooves Day in which Twist accepts what amounts to a valentine's card from a colt in their class before Tootsie Flute has a chance of offering Twist (or the colt, it's ambiguous in the show, but definitely Twist in the song) hers.
