Suri Polomare is an antagonistic supporting character and fashion designer who appears in the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic season four episode Rarity Takes Manehattan.
Depiction in fan labor[]
Though featured in considerably less fan labor than the pony she debuted with, Coco Pommel, what fan labor Suri Polomare is featured in typically depicts her as she is shown in the series: cynical, overconfident, greedy, and more than willing to mistreat other ponies to ensure her own success.
She is the focus of a fiction group on FIMFiction.net.[1]
Fan works featuring Suri most commonly involves her background in fashion. Due to a common fan theory stating Suri was different before the city of Manehattan changed her outlook, some works depict her more innocent, naive beginnings.[2][3] Others depict life for Suri after the events of Rarity Takes Manehattan, for better or for worse.[4][5][6][7]
Relationships[]
In at least one story, Suri is shown to be related to Rarity.[8] In at least one other, she is related to Diamond Tiara.[9]
