Ponies in Vehicles is a motif that is becoming popular around deviantART users. It uses a looped flash animation where one or more ponies from the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic cast drive a vehicle across a never-ending landscape.

The meme started on November 3 2011 where deviantART user Dx11 made a looped animation of Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash driving down a steep mountain slope in the TransAm 20000 from the anime film "Redline" as several other things happen around them such as a flying dragon.
This animation became so popular, other brony deviantART users started to make their own versions of the meme with other ponies driving other types of car, sometimes reflecting their personality (Eg, Applejack driving the General Lee)
ExpansionEdit
As more deviantART users made animations utilizing this motif, some started to experiment and made the ponies start driving other type of transportation such as planes, boats and even spaceships. Also, the type of pony driving these vehicles has expanded to the ponies outside the mane cast such as Derpy Hooves, Octavia and even Discord.
