Equestria: Total War (abbreviated E:TW) is a fan fiction written by emkajii. It spans 36 chapters plus a prologue and can be found on FIMFiction.
Summary[]
War comes to Equestria: with despair, with starvation, with suffering and with sacrifice. And the ponies must learn how to keep true to their values while surviving not just the rigors of battle, but the desolation of total war. The war is a roughly reinterpreted early-modern/Napoleonic conflict, with Equestria-appropriate technologies resulting in similar strategies and tactics.
The story focuses on the Main 6, Derpy and Gilda the Gryphon.
