BronyCon is an annual (formerly bi-annual) convention for fans of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, which was first held in the New York area, before moving to Baltimore, MD for the 2013 season. Its first three editions were organized by PurpleTinker, who handed it off to Zebranky in early 2012.[1] Reports on it were published in a number of online publications.
The convention was the first of its kind, despite MLP conventions already existing before the advent of the show, and later inspired a new wave of conventions to be established in many markets, including the West Coast of the USA, the Midwest and Europe.
